Meet the Doctors

Dr. Roger Anderson

Dr. Anderson completed his undergraduate training studying Biology at Walla Walla College, Washington. He then spent the next eight years at Loma Linda University located in Southern California completing a Doctorate of Dental Surgery, General Practice Residency, and a 3 year program in Periodontics and Implant Surgery. While in residency, he completed his Master of Science research using Cone Beam Computed Tomography. He currently practices in East Amherst using research based therapy and restorative driven treatment planning.  He uses a fully digital workflow that includes cone beam computed tomography, digital impressions, and 3D printing to improve outcomes in implant surgery.  He is currently a member of the 8th District Dental Society, American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontics, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.  Dr. Anderson spends his spare time supporting his local church,  He enjoys dental mission trips, watching the Bills, pickleball, kitesurfing, cycling and playing golf.   


Dr. Lisa Yerke

Dr. Lisa Yerke brings her private practice experience and strong educational background to Cornerstone Periodontics and Dental Implants.  She maintains a faculty position at the University of Buffalo which allows her to continue her passion of teaching and research while serving in private practice, enabling her to offer advanced, exceptional, patient centered care.

Dr. Yerke began her training locally at Canisius College, where she excelled academically allowing her the privilege of an early acceptance into the School of Dental Medicine at the University of Buffalo through a joint B.S./D.D.S. program.  She then specialized through continued training at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health, earning a certificate in periodontics and implant surgery.  After working in private practice in Rochester, she pursued her continued interest in research and teaching and completed her Masters in Oral Science at the University at Buffalo, with her thesis focused on the interaction between bacteria and fungi in oral biofilms.  Her current research is concentrated on the effects of chronic systemic diseases and medications on the severity of periodontal disease.

Dr. Yerke is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association,8th District Dental Society, Erie County Dental Society, Academy of Osseointegration, ITI Study Club, UB Alumni association, and International Association for Dental Research/American Association for Dental Research.  She is certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

When not in the office, Dr. Yerke enjoys long distance running and training for marathons, kayaking, cooking, snowshoeing in Ellicottville, watching the Sabres, playing violin, listening to live music, and spending time with her friends, family, and kitten, Napa.


Dr. Ryan Corbelli

Dr. Ryan D. Corbelli, a Western New York native, earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Canisius College, Magna Cum Laude. He continued his education at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, obtaining his Doctor of Dental Surgery. While at UB, he graduated Summa Cum Laude and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Corbelli received advanced education in Periodontics at an accredited, 3-year residency program at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. There, he earned his specialty certificate in Periodontics and trained in the full scope of periodontal and dental implant surgery in addition to conscious IV sedation. These procedures include soft tissue grafting, crown elongation, osseous surgery, bone grafting, ridge augmentation, sinus augmentation, full-arch dental implants, guided implant surgery and more. Dr. Corbelli maintains memberships in the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, and other local dental societies.

Dr. Corbelli is both excited and humbled to return home and give back to the community that has given him so much. He is committed to providing a positive dental experience for all of his patients. During his free time, he enjoys watching/playing sports (Go Bills!), working out, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.


Dr. Paul Herrmann

Dr. Paul Herrmann is a Western New York native who attended St. Francis High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Canisius College and a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He attended and received a certificate in Periodontics at an accredited, 3-year residency program in Periodontics at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He is trained to practice in the full scope of periodontal and implant-based surgical procedures. Also, Dr. Herrmann serves a role as a clinical faculty member at University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Herrmann maintains memberships in the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, and other local dental societies. He maintains a practice philosophy that strives to meet the needs of his patients in a practical and straightforward manner while incorporating strong collaboration with a patient’s other dental providers. 

Dr. Herrmann is an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills and Sabres and enjoys playing ice hockey, golfing, and spending time with his family and Bernedoodle named Bernie.
